The right tools

GET ON TRACK

CONSERVE ENERGY

If you’re in a desert, conserve your energy and sleep during the day, and move at night.

THINK AHEAD

Always be prepared for the worst case scenario. Mentally, physically, and in terms of equipment.

BUILD SHELTER

If it’s cold, always build a shelter, no matter how tired you are. Never sleep on the ground. Insulate the ground, walls, and roof of your shelter with leaves and grass. You can also pack leaves and grass around yourself to help stay warm.

STAY POSITIVE

If shit hits the fan, and you’re lost in rough or unfamiliar terrain. Keep busy will keep both motivation and morale up. Stay active and don’t assume that help is on its way.
